Supporting Flood-Affected Families in Vietnam

Go‑Pak supports families in Central Vietnam following severe flooding in the Tuy An Dong community.

A fundraising initiative led by employees has enabled support for households still experiencing the ongoing impact of the disaster, providing much‑needed stability and helping them take steps toward restoring everyday life. Although Tuy An Dong is located a considerable distance from Go‑Pak’s Vietnam facilities, the impact of the flooding was strongly felt across the wider community.

Focusing Support on Tuy An Dong Village

In late October and November 2025, Central Vietnam experienced severe, prolonged flooding caused by continuous heavy rainfall. Rainfall levels reached exceptionally high totals, with some areas recording over 1,000 mm of rain in just a few days. This led to widespread flooding across multiple provinces.

Based on reports from local authorities, Tuy An Dong in Phu Yen province was identified as one of the communities most heavily affected. Damage to the Tam Giang dam led to sudden and widespread inundation, with many homes submerged, loss of livestock and agricultural land, and limited access to food, drinking water or medical help.

Working closely with the Village Head and local representatives, Go-Pak coordinated assistance for 240 households identified as having experienced the most severe impact.

Standing with the Community

Through the collective contribution of Go-Pak employees and the company, a total of $4,600 (approximately 120 million VND) was raised. Representatives from Go-Pak visited Tuy An Dong to personally deliver financial support to the 240 families, helping them meet essential short-term needs as recovery efforts continue.

While the financial assistance cannot fully address the scale of the losses, Go-Pak hopes that this support offers meaningful relief during a challenging time. The visit also reinforced the strong connection between Go-Pak and the local communities in Vietnam where many of our colleagues live and work.

As recovery progresses, Go-Pak remains committed to supporting the resilience and wellbeing of the people of Tuy An Dong and the wider region.

We extend our thanks to all Go‑Pak employees who contributed to this initiative, and our continued support goes to the families and communities affected by the flooding.
